This wedding suite was a blast to create! What could be better than red, gold, chevron, and linen fabric?! Camille wanted texture and pattern to be the main focus of her invitations. We digitally printed these invitations, RSVP cards, maps, quote tags, place cards, envelopes, and table numbers (phew!) and then used a natural linen fabric for the bellyband. Rather than using a straight stitch to sew the card to the linen we decided to play up the chevron by using a zig-zag stitch. Fun right? Enjoy the photos!

Elbow Lake Lodge Shoot!
Hey all! You may already know this but we were lucky enough to be asked to participate in a *gorgeous* wedding shoot up at Elbow Lake Lodge in Cook, MN. We created all of the paper goods! You can check out the full series of photos over on The Sweetest Occasion, where it was featured yesterday. This shoot was styled by Bethany Hway, and the amazing photographer was Emily Steffen, two extremely talented ladies. Studio Fluerette created the lovely florals, and the jewelry was provided by Arise Designs.
Anyway, I thought you might like to see further details of the paper goods, so check them out below! If you want to see even MORE from this fun shoot, check out Bethany's sneak peaks here and here.

Pink and Grey Wedding Invitations :: Brittany & Mike
Brittany and Mike were married a couple of weeks ago in Mahtomedi, MN and had their reception at the beautiful Town & Country Club in St. Paul. Brittany's bridesmaids wore gorgeous pewter/slate dresses and her flowers were pink and white. She wanted invitations that were classy and different. We incorporated a fun pink houndstooth envelope liner, slate envelopes, and pretty address wraps to tie everything together.

Blue and Yellow Vintage Invitations :: Mandy & Nate
When Mandy contacted us about her wedding I was so excited! After a very pink wedding season (don't get me wrong, I LOVE pink too!) blue and yellow were so fun to work with. Mandy was planning a BIG wedding at an Inn in southern Minnesota. She had vintage and rustic details (mason jars- love!) so we incorporated a vintage lace pattern on her invitation. A burst of yellow was included on each piece, and paper bag style envelopes and raffia added some rustic charm. Since the wedding was to be outside, we created program fans. Congrats Mandy and Nate!

The Garden is Growing!
Last summer I discovered the raised bed square foot garden craze, and was instantly intrigued. It seemed so much more organized and neat than a big garden in the ground. I was living in Arizona at the time however, and a garden wasnt really possible. Now that I am back in the Midwest, my first big project this spring was my own square foot garden! I built two 8'x4' beds, and filled them with flowers, veggie plants, and seeds. My garden has been planted for about a month now, and everything is growing like crazy!
Here is one garden after I built it, filled it with dirt, and measured/attached the string.
Here is one of the gardens just after I planted. This is the pepper/squash garden.
Here is the other just after planting. This is the tomato/cucumber garden.
Here is the pepper garden now! There are peppers, cantaloupe, parsley, and squash.
And here is the tomato garden now! There are tomatoes, cucumbers, and basil.

Green and Yellow Rustic Modern Invitations :: Haley & Matt
Haley and Matt had an outdoor ceremony and were looking for invitations with a relaxed organic feel- and not too frilly. This set was digitally printed on extra thick recycled cardstock. We incorporated green, yellow and slate, and brought in natural colors with paper bag envelopes and raffia. I love the unexpected little details and understated but gorgeous fonts!
